Did a Greenland Asteroid Cause Abrupt Warming Last Ice Age?

This is very good coverage about the Hiawatha Impact Crater but misses out on the implications of an important now-known geo-historical fact.  Their map showing the melted ice flowing out into the oceans was not the configuration of the ice in the last couple of tens of thousands of years... it could not have flown out as shown any time before 6000 BC  - the Laurentian Ice Sheet and Greenland and Ellesmere Icecaps were not just all linked across Ellesmere-Greenland but also between Ungava (Quebec and Labrador) across the Davis Strait to Greenland via an ice dam that let go c.6000 BC which is when the seas worldwide came up by 200m and Doggerland and Dawarka disappeared, and Britain became an Island, and the Black Sea filled when the Mediterranean broke through at the Bosporus.

Behind that ice dam was Lake Agassiz, the meltwater from the Laurentian Icecap..... which given worldwide surface area of the oceans the elevation of the waters of Lake Agassiz must have been thousands of metres higher than the old ocean level.......

The Hiawatha Crater meteor did not happen in 6000 BC of course..but what was it that caused Lake Agassiz to melt in the first place?  Could be that the Hiawatha Impact started a local melt that affected climate across the vastness of the Laurentian Ice Sheet, and while no meteors (that I know of) have been found on Baffin or Ellesmere or around the Great Barrens or the areas around Hudson Bay the heat of the explosion and incoming non-metallics in the comet (so no meteorites but still hot as hell from entry velocity) could have well launched a 'cascade effect' melting the central part of the Laurentian-Baffin/Ellesmere-Greenland Icecap which spanned Ungava and southern Greenland....but did not have the tensile strength to hold back Lake Agassiz... so it took a few thousands years, but I'd bet this impact c.12,000 (though I've heard 10,500 somewhere...which fits with the Atlantis timeline but it wasn't an Atlantis-fan video) is connected to the Lake Agassiz melt.......and the rising of the seas... by 200m..... I don't have the math to calculate that vs the area /volume of ice spanning the Laurentian-Baffin-Greenland that would be needed to raise the seas by trhat much worldwide...Thats a LOT of water... what caused it to melt??

Also around the same time were the Missoula Floods...the Age of Cataclysms I call 12,000-10,000 maybe more 15,000-10,000.. and then the age from then to the rise of Egypt and Sumer and the Indus and the Yellow River civilizations the Hyborean Age, taking my cues from Robert E. Howard's "Conan" books and stories.

The 6000 BC sea-level  raise appears to have ended Jiroft's era or greatness, probably due to ensuant climate change, likewise the disappearance of  the Sarasvati and the drowning of Dawarka.  What lies below the Black Sea on its old shoreline has yet to be discovered, but Thracian civilization arose in the period just after that and included advanced gold working and art and also advanced stone masonry skills..... from the time of Atlantis, reputedly 10,000 yrs before Plato so 10,300 BC (~10,500 BC being the date on Golbekli Tepe), there is also a great megalith in Ukraine called Nuh-shun, I think, which of course pre-dates the new Black Sea shoreline and is suggestive that there is more down there.... one theory says the builders of Nuh-shun had left Ukraine and gotten to where they built Golbekli Tepe but that is spurious though intriguing - as they wouldn't have had to cross the Caucasus but could have come via the Black Sea basin ... suggesting again there is more down there than we can guess.

But given the extraordinary nature of the human effort to build Golbekli Tepe being around the same possible time of the Hiawatha Impact and the rise shortly thereafter of the astrological/stellar cults of learning at Harran, a tradition that became known as the Sabians in Muslim times and which stood unmolested by religious wars until destroyed by the Mongols in 1037 or 1237 or whenever it was they razed the Temples of the Moon and Seven Planets..... all that strikes me as suggesting the great cosmic event and the great auguries in the weather and behaviour of the birds etc as being the motivating force behind the launch there at Harran/Golbekli Tepe ("Upper Chaldea") of the great schools of astronomy and mathematics and natural science and the School of Thoth from whence came both Greek and Egyptian philosophy.

All being a reminder that much has changed since the end of the Ice Age and that the Age of Cataclysms in a sense really did not end until 6000 BC and the collapse of ice dam across Davis Strait holding back the waters of Lake Agassiz from the oceans of the world..... and to me it seems likely that the Hiawatha Meteor is what launched the melt of the Laurentian Ice Sheet... that built up pressure on the marine ice-dam which let go after however long it took for the water-pressure on the ice to build, and also to melt the ice of the ice dam.....

And whether Noah or Utnapishtim saw it coming or not, it seems pretty clear that the Biblical Flood was this 6000 BC date, the same as told of in the Enuma Elish and Gilgamesh.  At no time in the Holocene did seawater cover Mount Ararat or any other high peak ....but in 6000 BC vast areas of what must have been human civilization disappeared under the waters of what had been Lake Agassiz...which wan'st just the meltwater from the Laurentian Ice Sheet but also from the Greenland Icecap.

The glimpse of the map of Greenland with all the ice  removed/melted was an interesting glimpse... might I suggest the Green Sea for the huge inner basin of what we think of as one island bur really is a ring of mountain ranges/islands?
