Fair Democracy for Christmas (BC PR referendum) - Street Prof Vlog 20

This is my final video from last night, others uploading.... and this one needs captioning I don't have time to do just now..... what's in the Solidarity Crisis Pt 1 video is actually the conclusion of the very-partial history of the Peace Movement & Solidarity years and who the Restraint Budget was politically punitive and meant to squash the "progressive" spirit (using the American term) on the streets ALL over the province.  This covers some of what Bill Bennett gave as payback to those who had helped him win that year.... and Bill's dirtiest other private scandal, the Nicola Lands Scandal, which no one knows about because of the censoring/looking-the-other way friendly-to-the Socred media.....


Lots packed in all my videos... but this one gets into what I am demanding, and we all should - an extension, translation of the ballots, and more ballot boxes/voting places... where those who have been excluded from the mail-out and don't have time to go to Services BC to vote. 

Limitations on the vote are not acceptable.

Compiling playlist of my Street Prof videos.... "Dirty FPTP politics in BC History"...they won't be in order and  they all overlap and ramble.... one watch should get you fired up to not just vote for PR, but go find others who need to, and have a right to vote, and take them to Services BC.

I talked to a few people who had been in tent city here in Haney, though are now in the modular housing some finally have decent accommodations in, and as I can't get there easily, the women I talked to said for sure they would get everyone down there to vote.

So I hope today the Maple Ridge Services BC has a lineup of homeless folks wanting to vote.... I said go as a group... maybe they did...that'll rattle the bourgeois here who treat them as scum and look the other way and shudder as they walk by....the classism in Maple Ridge is *nauseating*... and many of the "new Canadians" from other countries comment on it, too.... 

EVERYONE WHO HAS A RIGHT TO VOTE SHOULD HAVE A *FAIR* CHANCE TO VOTE.

And ballot boxes they can get to.... it BOGGLES ME that there are no polling places on campus..... and SFU doesn't have a Services BC... the person I spoke to at the Ubyssey or AMS yesterday didn't know if there was one there either.

There's 16,000 students at SFU, I don't know how many staff; and UBC there.....?? 20-30,000? plus staff.

And where do they have to go to vote - a fair drive from campus/rez/class etc.

Voter exclusion must end.  If this is supposed to be a fair democracy, the time to start is with the referendum itself, and let those who most need to vote for it have a FAIR chance to participate in it.

Banned By Patreon | Let The Witch Hunt Begin

I have been intending on starting a Patreon account but you've given me second thoughts... also about using PayPal, which I don't like either nor who they are nor the way they limit the uses for your account, or moving it .... As far as existing folks with Patreon accounts, I hope they're in outside-of-Patreon/Youtube touch with their major backers about setting up; an alternative account somewhere.. and other means of payment.... probably cryptos or maybe credit union credit cards which won't yield to pressure, Thinkin' maybe I'll use Bitcoin now......for whatever other means of funding other than a Patreon account I find. This reminds me of how the BC government shut down political content in the Georgia Straight by strangling them by ending govt advertising with the weekly. ots in this, though most towards the end..I'll see if I can run a voice-to-text from now on and post transcripts. other than the "Star Trek economy" and how economics and ecologics must become the same thing (as policy /planning directions as well a true science, which economics at present is NOT), a bit of a rambling tour of Burdett Street from Government to Douglas until the 5:00 minute mark then the hard political truths start getting laid out, and who's been listening ... please watch and share.
