The British and Canadian and American Yellow Vests are a complete joke, flying the Yellow Vest banner without having a clue what the French are saying and wanting.... they're partisan and obviously so- not a unifying national force as the Yellow vests in France are....  I doubt the Irish Yellow Vests have big support in Ireland (?) though there's an old tradition linking the Irish and French as anti-English and also revolutionaries, so y'never know there may be an Irish Spring as well as a French one (no soap jokes, please)..... but what the Irish Yellow Vests can do is send their support to their comrades in France........ On being from a time when there was more time.... when time was still there to be had, and not everyone in a rush and without any time... time is money, and ever since that became a truism for our culture it means that nobody has any time... other than the very rich, and the very poor.... it's all how you put your time to use that matters in the long run... and where we once thought we had millennia of advanced and advancing civilization to go yet... it not looks like we'll be very lucky to survive the whole century... with untold hundreds of millions dying by mid-century due to climate change and sea-level rise and more. Finally got the last few days' playing uploaded including yesterday's session with a drummer for 35 minutes worth of we'll-see-how-the-audio-is but some great takes of certain songs, iffy of others.... many tracks on these session videos need to be edited into separate tracks.... some are the best I've ever sung or played them.  Got my ya-ya's out but good.. and gave my new hip a good shakedown of some boogie and some jive jumpin' knee-pumpin' fun for a while last night... said I was gonna learn hula but I ... have my own ways of movin'.... felt good.  I know I'll be jumpin' and jivin' yet for years to come...

The Christmas Revolution is ON. This video is 5 hours old... this must be this morning, i.e. Christmas Morning, with the people of wherever this is driving the CRS (or is it the CRS or - ?) in fear back into their vans through sheer number. I have been intending on starting a Patreon account but you've given me second thoughts... also about using PayPal, which I don't like either nor who they are nor the way they limit the uses for your account, or moving it .... Amazing and profound coverage from the inside of the Yellow Jackets movement - uprising -  in France.  Revolution..... Not what little you hear of them in the North American and world major media press, not at all. My French is getting good enough to understand most of this, and has been getting better in the couple of weeks I've been following all this.  This video really needs subtitles for the world community, though it's for the French to rise united.   The colours of the movement are yellow and white.  White for peace and an end to war, and yellow not just for emergency but also as a token of faith, as yellow and white are the colours of the papacy for that reason. made this this morning, only posting it now. comments on the referendum results numbers as known so far, and requests for data /stats as to who voted, and who wanted to vote but couldn't...and how many new voters there were..... .... and how many actual qualified voters there are - about 4.5 million.. only 1.7 million "took part in" the referendum...of the *registered* voters not ALL voters... I just did a rough calculation given what I could find out/ estimate about the province's electorate, though  I don't have stats on the numbers of foreign residents and I'm not sure they're in the census figures on Wikipedia I sourced... but it looks to be about 420,000 people who should have been mailed ballots had this been a fair referendum... the growth rate in the population and the citizenry vs. those who have voted before and are "on the voters list" that's a lot of people, and I've talked to many who are pissed off they couldn't get to ...

Starts off about the media blackout on referendum returns and a complete blackout nationwide about *anything* to do with the PR referendum in British Columbia and the nature of the 'debate' and all the lies of the NO side or anything about what the PR side is saying and the refutations of the NO side's incredible bullshit.  More than one commentator/comment I've heard on CBC was without a truth-in-advertising clause attached to the referendum egislation and its campaign's (very and too limited) terms, the whole thing was pointless ... or dangerous is the NO side wins..... This also gets into the dynamic of the non-paticipation of the indigenous nations and also about the Horgan-Morgan finagling that' just come out, and Horgan's so-called climate change policy.... And about the delicacies and vulnerabilities of BC's location i.e. its geopolitical siutaiton... ...and as with the comments about the native vote standing out... the situation of the Unsurrend...

Strong talk about the political geography of the incoming returns and why they are the way they are.... and the HUGE problems for many to be able to vote and about how many weren't even told when they easily could have been. That there is NO GOOD REASON to end voting TOMORROW when there are so many *TENS* *OF* *THOUSANDS* of eligible voters who cannot get to Services BC during its few opening hours....relative to how hard people have to work to survive, or deal with poverty or family and all that, or are alienated indigenous nations as I believe to be why the northwest is lowest... and I'll bet Bulkley-Nechako is, too.... I've just been listening to John Oliver going on about corporate monopoly power and shitty service and retail controls on competitors... he got talking about how Luxotica shut out Oakley from their stores and it brought to mind not only monopoly corporate and crown corp controls in Canada and within BC but also how FPTP politics is really "monopoly politics". As in "we won, so you have to put up with our shit until you can try and get rid of us". "Nyah, nyah, we won, you lose" etc. Time to end the bullshit game and talk to ALL young people you see, even if they're only 17 and 16 as they all have older friends and family, or most of them do.... and you'll see rapidly how many 18 year olds - AND 19 year olds and other 18-30s and also 30-45s who didn't know about it nor were mailed ballots... like those 'preferred voters' on the mailing list. I'm very concerned that the very many youth and new voters who have qualified to vote since the last election, plus 18 year olds and other new  voters e.g. new citizens and new residents who did not know about the vote and were all easy to find and mail, like most of the street people and shelter populations - all citizens - were not told of this vote in any serious fashion nor were polling places made more available to them. This is the first time in British Columbia history that 18 year olds can vote in a provincial vote and it's crucial to their future... as all I've spoken to do realize once they know it's about their future and they weren't informed about it, nor even KNEW THEY COULD VOTE IN IT. Those that now know understand why they were not told and will be acting accordingly and ... I hope flashmobbing Services BCs with their IDs to get their ballots and vote.....
