The Meng arrest/bail re Chinese vs. American power in British Columbia -...

In this I again call out to American and world media, including Ian Young of the South China Morning Post, asking them to investigate and cover various issues arising from this very curious case... and all that it might mean... and how it's as much about Canada as anyone else... really moreso, as we ar e the chessboard for American and Chinese power and money here in BC... which is now at a crux.

"in other news, Meng's home was burgled while she was under arrest".  Now who do you think that would be, hm?

copy-pasting here comments made on FB after seeing updates to the news item commented here earlier this morning.

"Top Chinese diplomat in Vancouver went in tirade..."

I don't blame the Chinese i.e. China, for being pissed off, and Councillor Fry is way out of his depth if he thinks Canada's extradition treaty with the US mandated Meng's arrest. It doesn't. Especially not for dealings in two other countries... the US is asking for arrest on our soil under US laws about a citizen of a third country for 'crimes' not committed on their soil and unconnected to their country except by way of competition

“She made a long speech about how this is outrageous,” Stewart told StarMetro. “Which was really quite awkward because (defence minister) Harjit Sajjan was there as well. (She) firmly denounced the ministry.

“This was a long speech — but it’s more for the bosses back home, I would think.”

About that last bit, I'd say not, it was for the member of the federal cabinet sitting in front of her at the Benevolent Association annual gathering... she doesn't need to put on a show for the bosses back home, she's taking on the federal government directly.

I'd like to hear the whole speech, "denounced the ministry" means what? Sajjan's ministry? Defence? She's criticizing our defence policy? Typical Canadian media to not elaborate on such details...

That this has to do with implementation of 5G in Canada I hadn't heard... and I can see the security issues of Huawei doing that implementation on the northern half of the continent would be a concern for US intelligence.... they won't have a monopoly on us anymore..... so of course it worries them...

5G's dangerous, though, and the news that there's some debate about whether or not the Teledisc satellite-cellular network will be 4G or 5G has overtones of complete madness to it... given the known effects of 4G already and how much worse and stronger they are with 5G.....

"This Vancouver home could become Huawei exec's 5.6 million prison" https://bit.ly/2C5iE3E

Gag, the Canadian media are so cupiditous... innocent.

"The $5.6-million home on 28th Ave. features visible security cameras but was still the target of an as-yet-unexplained break-in over the weekend. Monday afternoon saw two private security guards stationed in the Dunbar home’s front yard, their eyes hidden by sunglasses as they pretended not to notice the media set up across the street."

like the media want to be paid attention to.. those security guards (Chinese state security no doubt) had no reason to look at the media, that's not who they're looking for or watching out for. Such a dumb line of commentary, that one.

Even more, they missed who likely did the break-in..... Dunbar and 28th.... nice area... tacky house yuck 5.6 million??

That it wasn't b&e artists on a burgle seems obvious... who did it was the US looking for intel.....

The US media really has to get on the ball about this town and the way it is and all that goes on here....
