Voter exclusion of youth/new citizens in rigged BC ProRep referendum - S...

I've just been listening to John Oliver going on about corporate monopoly power and shitty service and retail controls on competitors... he got talking about how Luxotica shut out Oakley from their stores and it brought to mind not only monopoly corporate and crown corp controls in Canada and within BC but also how FPTP politics is really "monopoly politics".

As in "we won, so you have to put up with our shit until you can try and get rid of us".

"Nyah, nyah, we won, you lose" etc.

Time to end the bullshit game and talk to ALL young people you see, even if they're only 17 and 16 as they all have older friends and family, or most of them do.... and you'll see rapidly how many 18 year olds - AND 19 year olds and other 18-30s and also 30-45s who didn't know about it nor were mailed ballots... like those 'preferred voters' on the mailing list.

The voters list is unconstitutional as a base for the mail-out, and highly unfair to the youth voters who had no clue it was even going on, nor knew they could even vote on it (the usual voting age in BC is 19).

The lack of information materials in all  the new languages in BC is also reprehensible and shameful.... BC has no official language and it's common practice in the Lower Mainland's big cities to provide signs and other info in all the languages spoken there... so that it's a fair democracy, just like fair access to civic services.  

Holding this vote without efforts to include ALL new voters without outreach to them, or the easily-available lists that could have been used to mail ballots to all of them - and all the folks on the social rolls - instead of just those with addresses... and time in their day to get to a Services BC on weekdays... if they even know where one is.

The Canadian and BC media, other than APTN, are completely ignoring this (CBC News and the Tyee's publisher/editor hung up on me, I'm not even bothering with Global or CTV or the NatPo papers or G&M... they are part of the FPTP politics political machinery and are complicit in the  massive voter exclusion inherent in the way the mail-out was done....

The American media won't ignore this so I've done a lot of outreach retweets to Rachel Maddow, John Oliver, etc and American pols like Sanders and Beto O'Rourke and Ocasio-Cortez etc and US liberal/progressive media and also the Canadian comedy community especially my TPB and Hobo With A Shotgun pals in Halifax to expose this.  And Martin Lukacs and Heather Mallick, Canadians who write for the Guardian without a conservative leash on their paycheques like a certain long-time friend of mine I wish he was able to speak his mind, but he works on contract with NatPo now....which is part of the BIG problem in Canada ...the conservative press monopolies.

I need to trim up my beard and finally get in a shower and some food and do the gym after days of furiously uploading vlogs and commenting on posts.... got in mind a piece with the PR ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future and Scrooge - PR truths vs FPTP realities/cruelties and the promise of a better BC on Xmas morning .... and a fair result where ALL have had a chance to vote.... right up; until New Years Eve... and make it a festive occasion.

I threw that idea at Mike Smith a little while ago by Messenger for maybe him (Bubbles) and Ricky and Damian and the rest of the TPBers to fly with... but while writing this it came to me that Buddy, Scott Thompson's super-gay alter-ego who's pals with Betty (Queen Liz II).... to do another Christmas video about PR and unfair democracy in BC's vote..... so maybe they either revisit their old the beaver-loves the Queen story or just take on the PR Christmas Carol.

I prayed to the angels and gods giving me the power and focus to do this while making my pancakes, as to who to take the message to and will take on the load of telling the young and new voters and the poor about the the vote - and to also tell the world what needs to be known about how BC and Canada are FAKE democracies and ALWAYS have been....

And then the idea of writing Mike (Bubbles) and Sarah (the last Mr Lahey's daughter) and all the others I've written or tweeted around Canada or Stateside or internationally came to me.........and now also the idea of sending this and what I wrote to Mike/Bubbles to Scott Thompson/Buddy and the Kids in the Hall guys, as well as 22 Minutes/Mary Walsh and Russell Peters etc eventually....and Amy Poehler/SNL and Sam whatsername with the short red hair.. and Jim Carrey etc..... anyone who'd care to tweet this or whatever to all of those it would save me a huge amount of time though .... all a very good idea and any similar outreach you can think of would be great, so do it. ... pls let me know if you've shared this/retweeted from (@bigskookum) and to who so I don't have to also.
